Fellowship Opportunities

The Dean's Postdoctoral Fellowship is a two-year research fellowship established by Brown's Division of Biology and Medicine to support the development of a biological scientific workforce for careers in academia and other sectors. All applicants who meet the fellowship requirements are encouraged to apply.
The Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship is a two-year program at Brown that supports innovative, early-career PhD graduates who are advancing diverse perspectives & scholarship in a range of fields & research areas, including the humanities, social sciences, physical sciences & engineering. This program is administered by ODI in partnership with the Office of the Provost. The annual application process opens in the fall.
The Provost’s STEM Postdoctoral Fellowships for Diversity, Inclusion, and Impact will form a multidisciplinary cohort of scholars appointed for with tenure-track faculty aspirations who can leverage Brown's unique low-boundary collaborative environment to build exceptionally creative and influential projects across STEM disciplines. Each fellow is appointed for two years.
